This past Mother's Day I was struck with the losses that mother's suffer
that often go unrecognised by our culture and can remain hidden griefs; the
loss of miscarriages, abortion, giving a child up for adoption... Has anyone
developed a ministry in this area? I haven't been able to really clarify
what it is I am wanting to do, a service of remembrance with a liturgy that
recognises these losses or just a gathering to talk. Any suggestions would
be appreciated.
