Hello,
We know that each of you is aware of excellent Health Ministry or Parish
Nursing programs within your denomination. Here is an opportunity to share
that information with others and have the organizers who work so hard
developing these programs be recognized as the leaders they are.
The next HMA conference is June 19-22, 2003 at the Hilton Valley Forge. We
have the whole hotel reserved and expect about 500 participants. It will be
a great time for the health ministers and parish nurses within your
denomination to come and share their information as well as network and
learn with others.
Would you please encourage everyone to go to the Health Ministries
Association web site <www.healthministriesassociation.org> and down load
the Call for Presentation Proposals. We are seeking presenters for
concurrent sessions which may range in size from 35 to 75 depending on the
subject matter and the educational design of the presentation.
If any of your people have great ideas/programs but aren't familiar with
how to fill out the paperwork of the Call the HMA Continuing Education
Coordinator or a member of the Practice and Education Committee would be
glad to help. Just call the HMA office - 800-280-9919 and they will put you
in touch with someone..
