Lisa,
My son Logan was born at SEMC on 11/10/03 (he will be 2 in 2 weeks) at 29 1/2 weeks. He spent 6 weeks in the NICU. He did very well and has continued to do so. He has hit his developmental milestones on target and amazes us every day. I believe that because of the great OB/GYN that I had and the staff in the NICU Logan did so well.
He was in EI until 12/04. I am going to get them involved again for some expressive speech help. He says many words, but he is not putting anything together. I know that it will all come in time.

Hi Keri,
Welcome to the group!
I have had two children at SEMC. My daughter Julia was born just
before 28 weeks, and spent 70 days in the NICU. Julia is now 11 days
away from being 3 and she is doing terrific.
Please tell us about your child(ren). What date where they born?
How long did you spend in the NICU? How are you doing now that they
are home?
