Like all other branches of medical science, neurosurgery is developing at a very rapid pace; more so because of the involvement of and its dependence on advanced technology. Neurosurgery in Pakistan has been no exception. The number of members of Pakistani neurosurgical community is more than 150 now.

This list is the official mailing list of the Pakistan Society of Neurosurgeons (www.pakistansocietyofneurosurgeons.com) and Young Neurosurgeons Forum, Pakistan (www.pakistansocietyofneurosurgeons.com/YNF%20Home.html). Established in July 2000, and declared official PSN list on October 20, 2002 at the General Body Meeting of the Society, it is the oldest forum for serious scientific discourse among the Pakistani neurosurgeons. PNML provides a platform for discussion about neurosurgery in Pakistan. Members talk about things of mutual interest, share clinical expreience and learn from the experiences of others. The list also acts as a noticeboard for members to make announcements, give updates and news about events or simply indulge into social exchange!

Membership to the list is moderated but not restricted. It is open to all. You don't have to be residing within the geographical bounds of Pakistan to join the list (nor to be Pakistani, for that matter!). An interest in neurosurgery in Pakistan is all you need to qualify to be a member. Guest members from anywhere in the world are welcome as well.
