"Playing with Prana" is a sries of books and workshop, which focuses
on Children's Education.

We primarily are targeting children from six (6) to twelve (12) years
old, although we have had good experiences with children from four
(4) to eighteen (18) years old.

The main goal of the Workshop, `Playing with Prana' is to connect
children with the principles of Love, Wisdom and Divine Power. We
wish to make them being aware of the real meaning of the word Energy,
bringing into their conscious awareness their inner power and the
consequences of the misuse of energy.

Children are also invited and introduced to a short form of
meditation.

It is important to know that one of the objectives of this workshop
is to change the way that children connect to the world. We hope that
by creating a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the
meaning of Energy in children from an early age, as adults, they will
become special people, who are more loving and compassionate.

This workshop was presented for the first time in January 2000 (two
thousand), in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with the support and approval
of Master Choa Kok Sui. The first group was a combination of both
boys and girls of different ages.

Since then, other presentations with slight changes have taken place
in different environments, including poor areas and in public schools
located in very poor places throughout the city.

We had a very interesting experience that occurred in one poor
school, where we were invited to present the workshop. They asked us
to help with the more problematic class in that school. They gave us
a class that they really did not know what to do with, at that time.

The children really loved the experiences they had in this class and
their teachers confirmed changes of their behavior during classes.

We did not return to the school until 3 years later. Then the
director of the school called us to say that they had noticed that
more than 98% (ninety eight percent) of that class finished the
course.

This is something very uncommon in poor schools in Brazil. Many of
those children have been voluntarily helping the school until now.
The only difference that they found between that class and the other
classes held in the school was our Workshop `Playing with Prana.'

About `Playing with Prana'...

This workshop is all based on a game where the children can play and
learn with joy and happiness.

Before starting the game, we teach children the meaning of Prana and
how to understand it through different practices and experiments
using the children's own activated sensibility to show them what
happens when they swear at One another or when they quarrel with each
other. We also teach them constructive ways regarding how to protect
themselves from anger and other aggressive energies.

A "special ruler" within an "energetic scale" was created in order to
measure the various possibilities of their own choices. Its an
accurate device that allows them to detect how good or bad their
choices are.

Children are taught a few simple healing techniques that they can use
with pets, plants and in their own small wounds that frequently tend
to occur during childhood.

To complement the workshop, we have the book: ´Playing with Prana -
The Energy Planet`, that teaches children the meaning of Prana and
how to activate their sensibility. The whole lesson consists in
an "Around the World" story, where Little Prana and Lily, the main
characters of the Playing with Prana book, share with the children
the Wonderful World of Energy.

We have two more books: ´Playing with Prana - The Energy Man`,
talking about the chakras and ´Playing with Prana - The Rainbow
Universe' about colors. The contents of these books, can be
transformed in two more workshops in the future.

All of the books will soon be published by Master Choa Kok Sui's IIS
Publishing Foundation in Manila.

It is very important to say that the workshop and the books, made
with lots of love, are just a translation into the children language,
of the Priceless and Precious Teaching of Master Choa Kok Sui. We
thank Master for His Blessing in inspiring us to write these books,
and for His Blessing in allowing us to share this form of His life
transforming Teachings applied to children.
