"Practical Meditation for the Pagan Perspective - Meditation is a component of many of the world's traditions, with varying purposes. Within modern witchcraft, a strong personal meditative practice is required for more advanced pathworking and subsequent development of magickal technique. This participatory workshop will cover foundations of meditative practice with such concepts in mind. Lord Rath (formerly of Buffalo), a traditionally trained witch, teaches and hosts open holiday circles in Alexandria, Virginia. He draws from a variety of sources including martial arts, the Tao, shamanism, and chakra work in his own practice. This is a 1 1/2 to 2 hour intensive workshop. Come prepared to work. "
