Well, Jo, after I hit the send button, I realized I
did not mean to say the walk through the botanical
gardens and some spring planting was not on the roster
of stuff to do. It is. It can be.

When I was a Latin teacher, I used to take tiny pieces
of construction paper and have kids create mosaics. I
mean you could do somethign similar with medicine
wheel maybe???


I think if we are going to do dream work and stories,
we might sit around sniffing incense instead of
tobacco.

One thing Connie did with the kids once was to let
them all discover their totem animals. That was
pretty cool.

What I mean to say is that it's open. Let's call it
something else like maybe Midwinter Celebraion and
keep our imaginations open. Maybe begin with what
people really need to do in their spirit work at this
time of year and work from there to create something
that speaks to everyone.
