Re: Events
Well, the ear thing cleared up and now, I have strained my side. It
has to be one thing or another?
I would not call that little gathering of folk who showed an energy
discussion group, although it turned out to be fun and yes, laughter
is an excellent remedy. We will have to reschedule that meeting.
Thank you Lorelei for that beautiful prayer at the end of the night.
OH, BTW, I figured out whay the squirrel tracks go straight to my
front door, the sewer line had broken next to their tree. We had
people in here to fix it this week and well, there's a new cap to be
fitted and so forth, but everything is operational. The surprising
thing on it is that it looks as if it was broken by a compression of
some sort, something very heavy pressing on it, but to our knowledge
we have not had a truck back into the yard over it. But I had been
wondering what the squirrels were trying to alert us to and I think
that was it.
As for the past life regression evening, let's leave it on the 12th
of February. It was something Jord went into doing the planning
for. I am not sure how many people we have, but we will square it
away with Jaz somehow. Jord is bringing a few of his folk.
Remember to bring pillows, blanket, comfort stuff for either laying
on the floor or sitting in a chair, also an icecream topping/snacky
thing for afterward.
As for Imbolc, well, sigh. Two things. We don't always have to do
traditional Wiccan holidays. Feb 2 or 20th- traditionally Imbolc
happens when the first thaw happens. But I don't think we are
entirely Wiccan. We can have a mix? We have various earth-honoring
traditions here. We really are an eclectic group of people. There
are Native American holidays we can honor also? And that leads into
my second point. I do not want to set up a conflicting group with
Sue's group which is entirely Wiccan based. Respectfully, I don't
think our approaches or our philosophies are the same, but if we set
up a holiday gathering for the coming of spring, let's stretch
creatively in regard to the traditions we honor, letting people who
know that tradition teach something to the rest of us. I would like
to see us not in conflict with someone else's project, but rather
forging a path that brings us closer to the earth while exploring a
variety of traditions that bring us closer to a state of
centeredness, balance and healing. As such, let's think outside the
box?
I know that leaves the topic wide open for discussion, but that's
fine.
Thanks
Dana
