POCNY GOES TO THE MOVIES!


POCNY IS HOSTING MOVIE NIGHT: WE WILL BE GOING TO SEE PRECIOUS!

THEATER: Regal Cinemas Union Square Stadium
850 Broadway

TIME: We will be going to the 7:30pm showing, meeting in the lobby at 7pm.

November 6th.

WE WILL BE GOING TO DINNER BEFORE THE MOVIE AT MAX BRENNER AT 5:30PM, DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE THEATER. PLEASE BE ON TIME FOR DINNER SINCE WE NEED TO GET A TABLE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Clareece "Precious" Jones is an overweight, illiterate African-American teen in Harlem. Just as she's about to give birth to her second child, Jones is accepted into an alternative school where a teacher helps her find a new path in her life.
