Dear Subscriber,

I have several announcements:

1. We recently began our second Internet webcast of a Defeat Autism Now! (DAN!) conference. The webcast includes all of the presentations from the Defeat Autism Now! (DAN!) conference which was held last month in Boston. The presentations can be video streamed (DSL/cable or dial-up) or downloaded onto your computer’s hard drive. There are 25+ hours of presentations from many of the top researchers and clinicians in the field of autism, including Drs. Sidney Baker, Tim Buie, Stephanie Cave, Lisa Lewis, Jon Pangborn, Andrew Wakefield and many more. There is no charge to view the webcast!!! The web address is: www.DANWebcast.com

2. The 2005 edition of the DAN! Manual, titled ‘Autism: Effective Biomedical Treatments,’ written by Drs. Jon Pangborn and Sidney Baker, has just been published. (This book is often referred to as the DAN! Protocol.) The cost of the 310-page book is $30. It can be can be purchased through Amazon.com and from our website (www.AutismResearchInstitute.com).

3. Save the Dates! The next full DAN! conference will be held on October 28-30, 2005 in Long Beach, California. There will be mini-DAN!s in Charolotte, NC on July 16-17 and Toronto, Canada on September 17-18.

4. There will be a major non-DAN! autism conference in Los Angeles on May 20-21, 2005, sponsored by the Los Angeles ASA. It will include many top speakers, such as Jaquelyn McCandless (biomedical testing/treating), James Adams (mercury toxicity and nutritional deficiencies), Eustacia Cutler (mother of Temple Grandin), B.J. Freeman (teaching), Jed Baker (social skills), Bill Frea (ABA and teaching language), Barbara Doyle (teaching methods), and more. Go to www.ASALosAngeles.org for more information.
