I first want to say that I am sorry that I missed the meeting last
night. As usual; I did not get the pamplet that you sent home with
my son until it was too late. He tends to just throw things in his
back pack and I don't always get around to checking it. Especially
with the day I was having last night !!!
Anyway. My name is Misty Hollingsworth. I live in Linton. My son's
name is Jordan. He is in the 2nd grade at Linton Elementary. Right
now he is diagnosed as ADHD/ODD. The drs are looking into the
possibility of obsessive/compulsive disorder. I don't believe he has
this. I believe it is more like Bipolar Disorder than anything
because his bio father and bio paternal grandmother was. But they
keep telling me he is too young to "label" him as that. It has been a
long hard struggle the past three years; with new drs; and even
having to have him hospitalized in Bloomington Meadows. I have one
daughter who is 2; two step children that are 19 and 13 and also a
step-grandson that is 2; who also lives with us. It is a full; busy
house; all the time!!
I am looking forward to these upcoming meetings and meeting new
people who may have to deal with the things I do an a daily basis. I
have been looking for a local "support group"; and this sounds like
the place to be.
