Below is a link to an interesting new blog focused on the MSNBC coverage
of Autism on their recently aired special. The authors of this blog are
especially concerned about NBCs reporting that weighed in heavily on the
side that states there is no connection between mercury exposure from
childhood vaccines and Autism and also omitted a segment on children
recovering when using biomedical treatments to rid the body of mercury,
heavy metals and toxins. I also recently received an interesting email
concerning the CDC Foundation, (the Centers for Disease Control
Foundation ) which receives huge financial support from pharmaceutical
companies as anyone can see listed in the organizations donating to the
CDC research. If that doesn't spell conflict of interest in terms of
the CDC findings on the mercury preservative Thimerisol and a possible
link to Autism, than I don't know what does. Andrew Wakefield has been
accused of a conflict of interest for being in receipt of a grant from
the Autism Society of America to do research on the impact of the MMR
vaccine on individuals in the spectrum and his findings of
gastrointestinal damage are fascinating to say the least. If the CDC
receives funding from the makers of vaccines than how can they complain
when Wakefield receives money from ASA?
