set a date for a planning meeting. We want to get feedback and ideas
from you to decide what PLAYNET wants to be "when it grown up" -ha. We
really have enjoyed providing events such as Minds-in-Motion with
Candace Meyer, and Behavior Management Practices with Cathy Pratt, as
well as our IEP Conference, annual Family Gathering at Linton Park, and
the development of a library of books and materials for families.
Despite our best efforts, include advertising our events in our local
paper, or flyers through schools, being listed with the Indiana
Resource Center for Autism, and the Indiana Yellow Pages for Kids with
Disabilities, we have not been able to adequately reach famlies in our
area who could benefit from meeting other families and having access to
our guest speakers and resources. We have also struggled to put our
fingers on the exact needs of local families and how we can best serve
them. We are asking for your gifts and talents in support of the
further development of PLAYNET as we look toward the future. We are
very thankful for all the wonderful people in our PLAYNET family and
thank you for your past participation and support. It is a pleasure to
