I do not belong to any clubs. I tried leagues a couple of times; but it seemed to be more of a hassle than anything because it was nearly impossible to go to all the shoots because I never know how J is going to be at that given time. I just have always been onto archery since I was little and it is my quiet time and something my husband and I can do together. There are some people that are offended that I hunt and actually kill animals and I hope I do not offend anyone that may be in this group. I do it primarily to feed my family of 7; and like I said before; it is my Mommy Timeout and a good tension buster. It also gives me and J some time too. (when he is in the mood)
As for helping out at the October meeting...sure....just point the way. I'll be the first to admit I don't know what I am doing; but hey; I love to learn. As for my daughter; I don't know if I'll be able to pry her away from me. :) Sometimes she'll warm up to people and other times she is a little leach; but we'll manage.
So far I am going to go to the Fair.....looking forward to meeting you.... MIS

I just noticed the last part of your message and had to say that a lovely Mom of two friend of mine also loved to go hunting with her brother, both avid archery fans. She loved the quiet time in the woods too. Do you belong to the local club? My friends brother took my oldest son and my friend's daughter to a presentation there following a convocation at Linton schools by a professional female archer. My oldest has had a little exposure to archery through Cub and Boy Scouts. Time spent with you husband on common interests is precious and therapeutic. We will totally understand if we don't see you on Saturday!

I know this sounds weird; but I have a date with the woods seeing it is the opening weekend of deer season. That is my little get aways every fall. I love to go archery hunting !! Its so peaceful out there all alone in the woods !! Just you; the deer (hopefully) and God... its my "Mommy Timeout" :) and a chance to spend time with my husband doing the things we have in common.Anyway.......enjoy the week............ Mis
