I just read your profile and wondered if you are planning to go up to
Indy on Sept. 17th for the Answers for Autism Walk? We have been only
one other year and it was a great experience to be with so many others
united for the same cause! The balloon release (they do use
biodegradable balloons), was VERY moving!. My oldest son and I
relased the balloon for David and boh of us cried seeing it go up with
the sea of others that filled the sky for the hopes and dreams for all
these kids! The have some nice sensory activites that the kids enjoy
in addition to the walk itself.

Have you been an RPR for long? I think we have an IN*SOURCE
conference coming up in October.

You might also be interested in the MAAP/IRCA Conference "Stop, Look &
Listen to the Autism Spectrum" October 28-29, 2005, in Indianapolis. I
am registered to attend, and the speakers look great. Temple Grandin
is even listed, though I suspect she wil be present via video
conference and not in person. The cost is $190 which might be an
excelent use for the parent training funds available to you through
the IN*SOURCE Parent Training funds.
