New Work-study Position | Starts ASAP | Pay off your tuition | Attend all classes

Pangaea is looking for a reliable work-study student who is enrolled or wishes to enroll in the apprenticeship program, who is able to attend most classes, and has an additional 20 hours per week for work-trade.

Student must have access to a computer. Must be able to operate word processing software such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or a quick leaner.

What will the training include?

The entire Healing Arts Apprenticeship Program:

  • Western and Energetic Anatomy
  • Medical Massage
  • Biodynamic Craniosacral
  • 5-element acupressure
  • Whole Body Reflexology
  • Traditional Japanese Reiki

What will the work include?

20 hours per week, much of which can be done from home and over the internet.

  • Designing and distributing flyers
  • Phone calls and reminders to students
  • Organization
  • Preparing presentations (for instructor)
  • Class room set-up and clean up
  • Miscellaneous related jobs
  •

The Details:

  • WSA begins work a couple weeks before class begins
  • WSA must be self motivated and meet weekly and project deadlines
  • WSA must attend class, be on time, and exemplify a good student
  • WSA will turn in a work-trade time sheet each week detailing work completed
  • WSA will attend meetings and other gatherings pertaining to the institute
  • WSA ends work obligations a couple weeks AFTER class ends

More about the type of work:

Flyering is your number one priority. WSA will utilize an existing flyering root as well as enhance the route by adding more flyer boards as they appear. WSAs post more than 100 flyers per week!

WSA will check the school voice mail ONCE A DAY (Monday - Saturday / or Sunday - Friday if you prefer) and return or forward all messages to the proper person.

When not flyering, emailing, or making phone calls, WSA will transcribe recorded classes, develop class handouts, and assist in developing flyers.

Flyering roots, classes, and meetings will be in Western Mass, mostly in the Northampton area, flyering roots are from the hill towns to Springfield and beyond!

What will it NOT include?

This is NOT a free ride. Work Study Apprentices (WSAs) are required to work or pay for tuition in order to attend class.

Interested?

Send an email asap and include in it a letter of introduction (even if we are the best of friends) telling me why you would be the best for the job!

Along with this letter send a picture, list of references (at least one prof. one personal), and a resume, CV, or something creative to make up for it.

This is a very popular position, so apply quickly, don't drag, or you'll miss out!
