I would just suggest being a little more cautious than usual and not
do any activities that could potentially cause any internal
hemmoraging like contact sports. I wouldn't really worry about little
things like paper cuts or things like that, although it will take
longer for your blood to clot you won't bleed to death off of a
little cut. Good luck with everything.

Im already on aspirin and verapamil. He told me that it was ok for me
to take all of these meds. Although my surgery will not be for
another couple months, he said that it was ok to start this treatment
early. But Im a little nervous, since I've read that plavix and
aspirin can cause increased bleeding and brusing. Any suggestions?

get off all my meds in November, and I am now 8 weeks pregnant. It
all depends on what you get done and what type of meds they put you
on. Before my implant, I was on coumidon (please ignore spelling)
and then after the implant, aspirin and plavix.

the implant done? Do you know of any future complications that may
result? Like having to change the implant down the line, like in 10-
15 years? Or is there any effects of being able to conceive? Im 25
years old and engaged with a wonderful man, so I want to be able to
know if Im going to have issues having babies. Most of the time I try
not to think about it but then I have my moments where I get so
scared and depressed about the many changes this has brought to my
life. =(

Carolina. I'd have allergy testing done before you have any devices
implanted. Most of them have nickel in them and it's a simple skin
patch test to see if you're allergice to it.
