Thanks for the advice. I have read about that. Did you have the implant done? Do you know of any future complications that may result? Like having to change the implant down the line, like in 10-15 years? Or is there any effects of being able to conceive? Im 25 years old and engaged with a wonderful man, so I want to be able to know if Im going to have issues having babies. Most of the time I try not to think about it but then I have my moments where I get so scared and depressed about the many changes this has brought to my life. =(

Good luck to you Carolina.  I'd have allergy testing done before you have any devices implanted.  Most of them have nickel in them and it's a simple skin patch test to see if you're allergice to it.
