Re: [PFOSupport] PFO

Just because they are at Hopkins doesn't make them infalliable.  I walked out of the Mayo clinic in disgust.  I got better care in my small hometown in Erie, PA then I did at the Mayo clinic.

years ago I thought I was having Tia's so I went to cardio at John
Hopkins for testing and so forth. I have a PFO, when at rest now air
bubbles get through. But excerting myself I have 18 bubbles that past
through. The neurologist couldn't  confirm my symptoms to a TIA. So
they didn't want to do anything. Told me to take aspirin , but was
allergic to it, so put me on Plavix for awhile. I am not on Plavix
now.  When I do exercise I always have a problem with getting faint. I
have to sit down alot because of lightheadedness.  I also was told
that I have hypostatic blood pressure. That is going from sitting to
standing my blood pressure drops about 8 noches. Most peoples blood
pressure increasing. I need to find someone to see if It should be
closed. I don't want to have a stroke at a young age. But the doctors
at hopkins didn't recommend it. You had to have had a stroke in order
from them to close it.
