I am so glad I ran across this site, it's unbeliveable how few sites
there are deticated to pfo/asd's. Thank you for starting this one
Vi!
I have recently been diagonosed with a pretty severe pfo, last
Monday they did a chest echo and it showed that I had bubbles going
across even while I am at rest. I have been having chest pains and
shortness of breath for a couple of years now and it is getting
worse pretty fast. I almost always feel exhausted from even the
least activity and I think I may be having tai's as well. I have
read through all the posts on here and I have seen similarities of
what I am going through and it's has made me feel more confident
that it is my pfo that has been causing most of this.
I am wondering though Vi, if you have any regrets so far from having
the surgery? And if so what are they? If there is anything you would
of done different what would it be?
BTW, I am 33 year old male and I live in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Any and all advise would be extremly helpful to me at this point.
Anyway I will be looking forward to speaking with all of you and
getting more familiar with this place :)
