This forum will serve as a resource for parents of children in the Richardson Independent School District (serving North Dallas, Richardson, and some areas of Garland) who have been identified with dyslexia, or who feel that they might benefit from learning from other parents who have gone through the identification process. Members will provide personal support and a sense of community for each other in areas of concern with children's growth and development and for themselves as parents in sometimes unchartered waters.

Members must be invited to the group or added to it by the moderator.

This forum is a positive place to problem solve, share information and resources. The confidentiality of district employees, parents and students will be respected and all conversation will seek to identify the best possible route to helping our children succeed while, as parents, we support each other in our important role as nurturers and advocates for our children.

District announcements, interesting articles or links and meetings of the group (planned in conjunction with district support staff as well as informal gatherings FOR more connection and personal support) will be announced or placed on the calendar here.
