Autism and Related Conditions: Parenting Support Group.

ParentsChat is a chat group designed for parents to seek help from one another and to be of help to one another. Whatever situation you are in it is very good to be both seeker and helper. Your opinions and thoughts will matter.

Our chat groups consists of this Yahoo e-mail group and a Live Chat that we have on Sunday evenings 7:30pm from USA-Eastern Standard Time. We use Yahoo Instant Messenger for our live chats.

Both our live chat and Yahoo group chat are open to parents, guardians, foster parent, grandparent or caregivers. These chats are primarily to be of support to anyone seeking information and friendship or just chatting with other parents.

Topics in our discussions may include: Both Biomedical treatment and Conventional interventions for: Parenting, tips and ideas' for routines, Potty training, preschool issues, and IEP. "Seeking" information for Early Intervention, Speech and Occupational Therapies, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and Auditory Intervention Therapy (AIT) which includes: Listening Therapy. Biomedical interventions for dietary and supplemental that includes the Gluten Free, Casein Free, Feingold and Specific Carbohydrate dietary intervention. DAN Protocol is suggested for Biomedical treatment interventions.

We currently have parents with both young and older children who have experience in various therapies and dietary interventions. * P2ParentsChat group owner is experienced with the Gluten Free/Casein Free and the Specific Carbohydrate dietary intervention for over 7 years.
