Again sorry your single, but maybe you can help this group as well, WINK!

I would love to help you, but I'm in Jville, but if you ever want to do
something, it's not as bad as a drive as I once thought....

Yep -
I figured out a few years back that it's good to have some 'skills'
regardless of where I'm living. I do like living somewhere that
feels good to my soul. The mountains give me that feeling....so does
the ocean....but I get it more on a daily basis here. I guess
combining the two would be nice.....Cali? Hawaii? Other Islands? but
I'm a good ol southern boy at the core, so the Southeast US suites
me....for most things anyway....but politics is another matter.
Asheville is a 'Blue' zone in a very 'Red' state.....lotsa free
spirits & beautiful freaks roaming around here....heeheeheeheeee
I love the Carolinas a whole lot. I've spent a good bit of time on
the SC Coast since I got here, too.....ready to explore the NC Coast
& Outer Banks next.....

Thanks & have a good summer,

I will be hosting the 3rd Annual Clamorama Memorial Day Weekend.

We will have clams (really this time, even if I have to freeze
them), shrimp (already taken care of), an alligator sightseeing tour
(plenty of big ones right down the river), and the ever popular
water skiing follies (away from the alligators and, yes, I have
recovered fully from last year's tragic injury). Anyone for
oysters? They can be arranged.

The fun will start Saturday around noon, Friday for those who want
to come early and do some camping (or stay at my plaxe if the
weather is rotten).

The water is plenty warm enough already and will be warmer by then.

Fishing or shrimping on both Friday and Saturday night. A tour of
the clam lease for anyone interested in seeing how it works. For
those really adventurous people, there is a clothing optional beach
just a short boat ride from the park. Maybe save that for Sunday.

So, come one. come all.

Peaxe,
BobJ

Holy Smokes someone else I was talking about and thinking about! How the heck
are you lovely lady? How is the great north treating you? What is new? So,
you are coming back? When? For how long? You know all the questions?

So, come one. come all.

Peaxe,
BobJ

Hey Tonya,

First let me say CONGRATS and good luck, I hope you both are very happy together
and I wish you both the best for many, many years to come!!!!

I understand and I guess I'm just venting and maybe it's just time to move on
and that is OK too. I love our Sunday brunches, but honestly its the same 4
people every month and I can see those crazy peeps whenever I want...So, maybe
it's time to pass the torch or just let it die. Jax-437737 wont go away, so if
there is ever that person who shouts out, we will be there to support, but I'm
finding my time is getting more valuable and for those of us who get together we
know how to stay in touch.

God there I go venting again...

Good Night!

Hey C,

I have to agree with you. I'm not sure if people aren't turning to
the internet or if they are, they're just ignoring it.

As the (ex) social coordinator of the Orlando group, I was feeling
kind of guilty about not having any socials (due to planning our
wedding...to occur this Saturday, 4/30), but after thinking back at
all the socials I had where I was the only one that showed up...my
guilt didn't run too deep. I know that may sound mean and ugly to
say, but hey, I was feeling kinda dumb a couple times while I sat
there all alone with balloons at my table...reserved for 10 people
(with the hopes of more). You ask for help from anyone...even if
it's ideas and you get...um...not much. <sigh> What to do.

Maybe after I get back and settled in with my new husband I'll try to
have something here in Orlando. Not sure what. However, I've
officially resigned my reign as the social coordinator due to my new
family life. I just don't have the time I used to as a single chic.

So, don't feel bad...I'm in the same boat!! (row, row, row the
boat...dang! watch the waves!!!) :o)

Hope you're doing well way up there!
