Ladies and Gentlemen its time for some summer fun!! We are hosting a snorkeling
trip at John Pennekamp in Key Largo for Saturday, Aug 1. Boat leaves at 12 noon
so people should be there no later than 11:30. The rates are Adults rates are
$29.95, Masks and fins can be rented for $2 each, and the $5 snorkel is yours
to keep. The trip is 2.5 hours and afterwards we can all relax at Gilberts
Tavern for some fine dining..err..well great bar food!! For those that dont
know where Key Largo is please check mapquest. It is the first key as you
enter the Keys and is approximately 1.5 - 2 hours from Broward County. We are
setting up the trip at noon so that anyone from the further reaches of the state
would like to come down and join us this will give you plenty of time for
travel. If there are people looking to come in early Friday night and stay or
stay later on Saturday night, there are lots of lodging available in Key Largo.

For those people that also have their Advance PADI Dive Certification, another
small group will be doing a deep dive to the Spiegel Grove very early that
morning. Tentative cost is $50. If you need to rent equipment, please contact
me and I will put you in contact with the people organizing this portion of the
trip.

I will need a solid confirmation by Sunday July 26th. If we get enough of a
response we may be able to charter our own boat privately. If so, I will push
the time back to 1pm to give our Darth Vader wannabe's that want to go
snorkeling enough time to get back and relax a little before the next snorkeling
trip. Even if you cant give me a solid confirmation by the 26th, the trip will
still be open to last minute people. However, if the we have enough for a
chartered boat than I cant gaurantee a slot.

In case you cant make it to this trip but still would like to socialize with the
group, we will also have a mid august Friday night social. Keep an eye out for
the evite.

Markers for directions in the Keys
