First of all,,,it's none of his business... I don;t tell anyone unless they
become the 1.... Who knows what motive someone might have to threaten you/us
with that type of personal knowledge.
If your boss already knows... the cats out of the bag... you might offer him
advice on what not to talk about or say to others that he is not personally
involved with... as it can be offensive and hurt other peoples feelings.
Then again, he just might have been testing the waters to see who out there
has it cause he does too.
You/We are normal people....so be NORMAL!

Yesterday, I was working at one of my jobs and usually it is only my boss
and I in a room working. We were each working on our own projects and he
started talking about Herpes. He started naming off all the people we knew that
has
it then started talking all high and mighty because he's been tested and
only has HSV-1. He started trash talking all the people with HSV-2 then asked
me
if I've been tested and if I have 1 or 2. He and I are friends as well as
coworkers and I know he was asking me as a friend, but here I was put on the
spot sitting there at work and my boss is not my lover in any shape or form.
I told him his question was inappropriate for work and I kept on going about
my duties. He got off the subject, but as I sat there, his words that he had
said, stung me and tears started rolling down my face. I am a woman, and if
someone says something that hurts, I cry. I can't help that. I stood up, he
saw that I was crying even though I tried to hide it and told him I needed to
take the rest of the afternoon off. He didn't understand. I told him some
subjects are not his business and he should keep his own opinions about other
people's health to himself and I left... he told me he would clock me out at 5.
He then called after I left and asked me what he could do to make it better.
I told him that what he said was hurtful and mean and none of that was his
business. I pretty much admitted to having it and he apologized.
I drove off to New Smyrna and tried to relax. I came home last night still
hurt. I texted him and told him I would not be at work today. I work a
different job tomorrow, but I'm working for him again on thursday and I'm not
quite
sure what to say or do from here.
