I'm going camping. On an island. Need to get away for a few days.
Would like some friends along. Clams, shrimp, fish. All fresh.
MMMmmm. Mosquitos gone. Hurricanes gone. Not too hot in the day
or too cool at night. Best time of the year in Florida.

If any of you don't have plans with relatives, this could be the
alternative Thanksgiving of your dreams. I know several high and
dry islands where camping is allowed. Some actually have picnic
tables.

Just a short boat ride from shore. Not a three hour tour.

Work on my boat is almost finished and those who have seen it before
wouldn't even recognize it today.

Personally, I'm going for five nights, starting the 23rd. There is
an internet connection right across the river at a small library and
cell phones do work on the island. Kind of like getting away
without getting too far away. I have a small, very quiet generator
to run some lights, music, and cell phone chargers.

If you like fishing or clamming or just getting away for a while,
this is the place.

Come down for a day, a night, or for the whole weekend.
