Hey C,
I have to agree with you. I'm not sure if people aren't turning to
the internet or if they are, they're just ignoring it.
As the (ex) social coordinator of the Orlando group, I was feeling
kind of guilty about not having any socials (due to planning our
wedding...to occur this Saturday, 4/30), but after thinking back at
all the socials I had where I was the only one that showed up...my
guilt didn't run too deep. I know that may sound mean and ugly to
say, but hey, I was feeling kinda dumb a couple times while I sat
there all alone with balloons at my table...reserved for 10 people
(with the hopes of more). You ask for help from anyone...even if
it's ideas and you get...um...not much. <sigh> What to do.
Maybe after I get back and settled in with my new husband I'll try to
have something here in Orlando. Not sure what. However, I've
officially resigned my reign as the social coordinator due to my new
family life. I just don't have the time I used to as a single chic.
So, don't feel bad...I'm in the same boat!! (row, row, row the
boat...dang! watch the waves!!!) :o)
Hope you're doing well way up there!
Tonya
:o)

the internet for information, fun, etc. I remember 4 yrs ago when I
joined yahoo groups were going crazy, and now nothing. I can't even
get my local group to sneeze and honesty (oh and don't tell, cause
god knows none of them are lurkers anywhere else WINK!) I'm about
done and ready to give up and hand it over.
