I have a similar problem, and it's even worse being a woman. Women's frames
in larger sizes are even more rare. I'm going to go for a drilled rimless
(4-point)frame. That way, I can make the lenses as large as I want, and in
whatever shape I want. A couple of my suppliers carry such frames; if you
like, I can give you their names, and the frame names.
If you're concerned about your Rx fitting these frames, use a hi-index
aspheric, and you should have no problem.
