I feel we have been deceived and the web master or moderator owes
an AGOLOGY to all of us as well as a time line for the immediate
remediation of the degradation of this website.

The Mission Statement is posted on the Home Page: "This club was
created so Opticians, Optomerists, or Eye Doctors can talk about
buying, selling, fixing,trading, sharing or just asking about Optical
Machinery, Lenses, Frames, Optical Molds, Pattern Makers, Edgers,
Lensmeter, Eyeglasses, etc."

I am new to this site and am SHOCKED with whats been appearing lately
(probably 4th quarter, 2005). Prior to that the majority of thwe
postings were right on message or mission. Now the majority of
postings are about sex web sites, web cams, dating/escort service,
interest rate repair, penny stock promotions (of questionable
legality...I know because I am a Series 7 licensed stock broker),
dating chat room and more.

I think we all must DEMAND that the moderator, within ten days, get
this cleaned up, and provisions for non re-occurence. STRICK
ADHERENCE TO THE PUBLISHED MISSION STATEMENT! After ten days, we have
no other recourse, but to UNSUBSCRIBE in mass.
