ydnarca, what a name, why did you make it so hard for us to response to
you directly? I know in Florida all three of the “O“s” are licensed.
Why, well, forcing people to take an exam and keep up with their hours
sort of separates the glorified salesperson from the people that
actually give a damn about the people they see during the day. I think
the fact that you are put off buy the amount of math and simply decide
that the computer knows how to do it sort of sums up which category you
fit in to. I have yet to meet a person who can not pass the Florida
exam, even the former burn outs of society. Being an optician is more
then just selling a person a cheaply made drug store quality piece of
garbage reader, which your office bought by the dozen for a buck fifty
each and turn around and sell for $34.95 explaining they are high
quality and latest fashion. Monica probably said this in a better more
concise way, but I cannot stand hearing people complain about an
industry that they are part of, yet they choose to still be part of it.
