I wanted to take an optician's course but couldn't believe the
amount of Math involved!! Why is all this math necessary to sell
someone a pair of glasses? The lab does all the technical work. I
know they take measurements but can't that be learned by most people
in a couple of hours or less? After all, opticians are really just
glorified sales clerks...
