The primary goal/target audience of this list is to create an online community to serve the needs of people who are AT LEAST ONE YEAR out from WLS & facing the difficulties of maintaining weight loss, of learning how & what to eat, which supplements to take, the problem of weight regain or the inability to reach goal. To try to encourage "LONGER-TERM POSTOPS" to stay online, people less than one year out from surgery MAY NOT POST TO THE LIST, but may quietly lurk, listen & read the files to educate themselves to the challenges faced by longer-term postops. WHEN JOINING PLEASE WRITE YOUR EXACT SURGERY DATE IN COMMENTS SO WE CAN APPROVE MEMBERSHIP WITH POSTING PRIVILEGES, if no surgery date is entered you may be rejected until this is provided. Those less than a yr who submit date will be approved to lurk but not have posting privileges until their 1 yr anniversary!
