OPSS-L is a semi-moderated SUPPORT listserv for women who are currently pregnant and at least 50 pounds overweight. It is specifically geared toward big beautiful women ~ plus-size women. Listmembers are asked to go the extra mile and try to offer support only . . . if one needs to disagree, it should be done with facts rather than emotions, and in a gentle manner. Problem posters will be set to review or deleted from the list.

The topics on this list include subjects related to pregnancy, pregnancy after infertility, pregnancy after loss, nutrition during pregnancy, health problems, and medical personnel issues. This is a support list as opposed to a discussion list, so some controversial topics should be limited (circ., termination, vaccination). Please be sure to read the guidelines before posting.
