OI Parents is a focused email list dedicated to help parents raise & care for their OI children. It's a place to ask questions, get answers, offer info. & support to one another. Read our 6 rules before posting:



1. Keep the posts STRICTLY related to OI in children.

2. This rule seems to be the most mis-understood and
with over 600 members we ask that you please make a special note:
Most often the content of your email is valuable information for others to read. But if your response is intended for one person alone and does not need to be read by the entire list or if it is a one liner such as "Thanks for the info", " Congrats", "Sorry about the break", etc. DO NOT SEND THIS TYPE of POST TO THE LIST, SEND it PRIVATELY to the person for whom it is intended.

3. Do not send SURVEYS or PETITIONS(unless you have permission)
DONATION or FUND-RAISING REQUESTS, POEMS, JOKES, STORIES or FORWARDS to the
list. Keep links to personal web pages & personal OI related business ventures in your signature. This list is not a political forum, nor a place to discuss current affairs unless it relates directly to our OI children.

4. Please sign all emails with your first and last name (or at least last name initial). Label your emails correctly, double check before you hit "SEND".

5. Please be kind and courteous. Foul language will not be tolerated.

6. When setting up a "Regional OI Get-Together", post once to the list your
plans and ask those interested members to email you back OFF THE LIST. You
can work out the details and send them updates and other information
privately. Once your date and place are arranged, you may post
one final time to OI Parents to announce the get together.

7. Photos of equipment, PT, furniture, orthotics, casting, OI modifications, etc, post at our yahoo site.
