Welcome, Mindy.  I am Misty, mom to Nicole (11) and Leah (9), adopted at 8 (N) and 6 (L).  They are bio sisters.  We adopted them through foster care.  We chose foster care because we did not have the money to pay for an expensive adoption and I wouldn't have it any other way.  I love my girls and they are the best thing that has happened to me (next to my wonderful DH).  Feel free to ask me any questions, if foster care adoption is something you are interested in.
