Hi everyone,

My name is Sheri, I'm 35 and my DH Mike is 36.  We've been married since 2003 and have one son, Jared, born in 2001.  After 8 years of infertility we conceived after our first round of Clomid and 9 months later, Jared arrived happy and healthy at 6lbs. 9oz.
While we would love to have a second biological child, due to some medications I'm currently on (and no short term vision of getting off of them) and our age we've decided to pursue adoption.  We're currently filling out the application and getting or necessary criminal and child abuse registry checks done.  We've decided to pursue adoption through our Provincial department rather than a private agency due to costs.  This type of adoption is pretty much free and I've been told that we, luckily, live in the area of Nova Scotia where the most number of newborns are placed.
We are seeking a newborn (0-2 yrs) of any race, nationality or religious background.
