Hi my name is Sharon, I'm 35 years old and live in Florida. I'm very
overweight. I've been married to my wonderful husband for 6 years. We've
been trying to get pregnant for over two years. We recently adopted a dog
(Maggie) from the Humane Society but we have no "kid, kids" of our own.

I've had 3 consecutive miscarriages. The third I just found out about
today at my 9+ week ultrasound appointment. I had an Ultrasound at 7 weeks
and everything looked great. Today there was no heartbeat. Tomorrow I'm
scheduled to have a D&C. My Reproductive Endocrinologist wants to have the
tissue analyzed. Hopefully there will be some answers. I had a full
fertility diagnostic workup last fall. They didn't really find too much
wrong. Just a possible Luteal Phase Defect which I took Progesterone for.

I'm still hopeful that I will be able to carry to term some day and have a
healthy baby but in the meantime we've decided we would like to begin the
adoption process since we truly want to be parents.
