We are just finishing up our adoption portion of the process. We just have the first homestudy left. Then we start the foster portion of it. We are going thru Orange County in California. We have decided on a girl or a boy ages 0-3. We are also thinking of going for a sibling set. We decided we did not want to wait forever on getting a child. They told us that 0-2 some times is a long wait. It has taken us 6 months to get to this point. Which is not that long at all but it seems like forever. I think we are starting to get nervous now about what are we going to do when we get it. Am I going to stay home and have half our income go away but be able to spend so much time with our child. Or are we going to do childcare during the day while I am at work. I guess we are jumping the gun on that stuff since we dont even know what we might get.
