This course is a basic overview of Chair/seated massage. Students will learn indications and contraindications of seated massage, as well as proper hygiene and safety for clients in a chair. Hands-on-work will include the basic strokes and proper stretching techniques, including proper body mechanics for the therapist to use. This class will also include an introduction to marketing for Chair/Seated Massage, as well as supplies needed for on-site massage. |
