R Robinette Instructor Without question, headaches are one of the most common conditions that clients present to a massage therapist. Why? Because you have the potential to offer lasting relief from the muscle tension that causes most headaches. This workshop will give you the deep tissue massage techniques you need – trigger point release and myofascial therapy – to effectively decrease headache pain. You will also learn the soft tissue causes of headache pain and neck tension.

Chair Massage  Oct 3

Fri 9a-4p

G. Sprague Instructor This course is a basic overview of Chair/seated massage. Students will learn indications and contraindications of seated massage, as well as proper hygiene and safety for clients in a chair. Hands-on-work will include the basic strokes and proper stretching techniques, including proper body mechanics for the therapist to use. This class will also include an introduction to marketing for Chair/Seated Massage, as well as supplies needed for on-site massage.

Rick Robinette joins our staff as a Continuing Ed Instructor.  Check out this week's class on Headaches, and watch for Rick's upcoming classes already scheduled in October, November and December.
