The course will also cover an in-depth study of Systems Anatomy, whereby students are taught about the Nervous, Cardiac, Respiratory, Digestive, Circulatory, Skeletal, Integumentary, Muscular, Endocrine, Excretory and Reproductive System

As an introduction to the theories and mechanisms of disease, this course focuses on the pathological conditions most likely to be encountered in a massage therapy practice. Special attention will be given to precautions, contraindications and indications for massage sessions when working with massage clients exhibiting specific conditions. When and how it is appropriate to refer clients to other health care practitioners will be included
