Dear Dennis:
I thought the same way you did 4 years ago. If you carefully read
Morinda's Tahitian Noni product label it clearly states their
product contains reconstituted noni from noni puree. The
dictionary defines the word "reconstituted" as "added water".
Something else that I find interesting is a discrepancy in the
amount of noni puree exported from Tahiti to Morinda through
Eduard Tuairau (Chief of Morinda's Tahitian Operations and my
Tahitian wife's former next door neighbor). Please review
Tahiti's Chamber of Commerce website export statistics page.
They said that USD $3 million worth of noni puree was exported
in 1999. Compare that figure with the $1 billion made from
Tahitian Noni since 1996. Where did the rest of the noni puree
come from?
Please visit the tahiti-export.pf website for details. Also ask
Morinda why the Tahitian goverment stopped the export of their
noni puree on August 11, 2001 (refer to La Depeche de Tahiti
newspaper articles on August 27 & August 28, 2001. I couldn't
find any explanation from Morinda's website.
I have already read both versions of Morinda' s comparison
book. I will give a you more detailed response later.
Regards,
Chris
