Great idea to set up your own group.

Things are quite quiet here for once.

who would think that we are now involved in the opening scenes of
WW4?
Makes you wonder what lies ahead for us unprotected civilans over
the next few years.

thanks to the machinations of the so called democratic government we
have been unwhittingly thrown into the middle of one of the most
devastating scenarios to face mankind since the ice age.

Many will bury there heads in the sand and say 'well, it's not my
problem so why should it bother me?'

This is the biggest obstacle. Information, misinformation,
disinformation, apathy and fear by an uninformed public.

Joe Stalin once said that education is the enemy of indoctrination.
Damn right!
For those of us who take great pride in study for ourselves and to
attempt an accurate picture of the world around us WE ARE THE
ENEMY!!!!
We are the enemy of greed, bigotry, division and narrowmindedness.

we must seriously learn to arm ourselves...not with the 2 forms of
WMD, weapons mass destruction and the words of mass distraction but
to educate inform ourselves and others with the ideas of genuine
forwardness and progression.
Its time to analyse our rights not only as citizens of a particular
state or country but to understand our rights and duties as
international citizens of the United Nations.

This may seem crazy to some but to me it is necesary to comprehend
what our position is amongst the international community as
individuals and collectively as a human race.

For instance there is a clause in the UN Charter that makes it very
clear that any citizen who belongs to a state that has signed the
non-proliferation treaties, stopping the creation of WMD etc, that
it is every UN ctizen's duty actively stop the proliferation of
nuclear weaponry.

So as citizens of the United Nations I am sure that most of us from
all parts of the globe have not adhered to international law.

Why?

Simple....when is the last time any one of us actually broken into a
silo and attempted to decommision it.

Or

for that matter have tried to row out in a small boat and attempt to
dismantle a British nuclear submarine with spanners and every work
tools.

This might seem absolutely insane but you know what that is exactly
what some brave and forward thinking activists are doing.

One in particular (I wont mention her name although you may know
her), a quaker involved with the grooup 'Trident Plough Shares' did
exactly this and was arrested by the MOD Police. They could not
charge her for damaging the submarine as that would contravene the
UN Charter and so they charged her with trespassing on Crown
property.
she was found quilty and sentenced.
However, because she was Quaker, she refused the authorities to
allow a personal search and so by law she was put into solitary
confinement.
After six months of remaining in solitary a large protest and
petition to the Crown Courts, the House of lords and the Prime
Minister had been staged and continued.
Finally after much media attention and many tens of thousands of
signatures later she was released with a suspended sentence and
given a bind over to keep the peace for one year.
Did this stop her?
Of course not!
She went straight back to Scotland with other colleagues and started
over again.
This time she is a lot more subtle and doesnt get caught.

However, in today's climate we have even more problems. we may not
be charged just with trespass but could be imprisoned without trial
under the special security measures that have emerged since 9/11.
