this looks ludicrous to me. Unless there are fill lights available in deep
space the inconsistent lighting cannot be explained.

where was NASA's quality control the day this image was created? Sleeping?
drunk? high?

please exercise caution when looking at the 'South Pole of Asteroid Vesta': The
more you look at it the stupider you get.
