There is no support group meeting tonight at New Dimensions. I know
there has been much confusion about times, topics, locations and such
regarding our support groups. As a result, all support groups for all
our surgeons are being held at the Health for Life Center at 8109
Fredericksburg Road on the 2nd Floor.
I will send another mass email and also post the exact specifics for
the group so everyone can plan to attend. It's going to information
and fun too.
So, to remind again, there is no meeting at New Dimensions on Huebner
Rd. tonight.

Just to clarify, there will be NO Support group tonight at either New
Dimensions nor Health for Life Center. We will send out an updated
schedule of groups tomorrow.
Thank you, hope this helps.

I read your question and at first I did have a bit of a problem distinguishing 'hunger'. Dr. Stegemann described it to me one day in a followup checkup and it made sense to me what I had been feeling. He said it's like an empty feeling - I also get a little light-headed or weak, if it's been too long between meals for me.
You'll be able to tell when you're feeling 'emtpy' - but it's not an emotional empty, a physical one.
Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for answering my question.I haven't had my follow-up appointment yet.It really seems strange in a way how I lived for meal to meal and thinking I was hungry all the time and now with what little you eat i'm satisfied..When did you have your surgery? Hope to hear from you again,Claudia

Lost 120lbs but lately feel the need to get more active on a more
regular basis to keep the weight off now that I
can eat a little more and I, personally, need to
keep away from carbs because they cause me to
dip down in energy after I eat them too much
I encourage you to find some good exercise activities
And stick to them after you have fully recovered and stick to
them so you won't run the risk of regaining your weight
when you're 2 yrs out like I am.

Hi,
I recently discovered bikram hot body yoga and absolutely love it. We work out
for 90 minutes in a hot room ranging from 104-120 degrees. The combination of
the heat and the yoga seem to curve my appetite and I'm getting stronger as the
days pass by. This is good for me because I'm a stress eater so I do experience
some difficulties with determining when I'm really hungry. Good luck to you
