what does everyone eat?   Message List

Sounds like everyone is going pretty good on their results. I have my gastric
bypass in 2005 with Dr. Stegemann and lost the weight very quickly. During the
first 1yr and 3mths I lost 168lbs and have kept it off ever since. I now weigh
165 so bacially I LOST more weight than I weigh now!!

I can eat pretty much eat most things I want, but choose not to go back to my
old eating habits. The only things I really can't digest are red meat
(hamburgers/steaks) and any kind of chocolate - everthing else I can tolerate in
moderation. I tend to eat more veggies and fruit than anything else now.

What does everyone else eat now? I've heard that veggies are hard to digest,
but I find them the easiest digest for some reason. I was always a veggie
eater, but back in my 'bigger' days my veggies would be side dish for the double
cheeseburgers!
