Food Additive Sensitivities
In my 17 years of clinical consulting I have helped
many people heal physical difficulties which have
seemingly been caused by ingesting food additives.
Some people's reactions have been fast and extreme and
some have been slow to develop, manifesting as low
level discomfort over a long period of time until the
condition becomes serious ill-ness.
It is now known (scientifically researched and proven
at Newcastle University) that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
- an auto immune dis-ease - can be caused by synthetic
chemical additives in our food, fertilisers and
pesticides.
It is now known that asthma - sometimes very serious
attacks - can be triggered by Benzoates, Sulphates and
Tartrazine (a sulphur based additive). Strepsils
contain Benzoates. Some anti-asthma prescription drugs
contain Tartrazine - is synthetic yellow colouring -
code no 102.
It is now known that hyperactivity and learning
disability in children (often misdiagnosed as A.D.D.)
can be caused by ingestion of salicylates, artificial
flavours and artificial colours added to foods.
Benzoates, Sulphites and Tartrazine cause inflammation
in sensitive individuals - this can manifest as
symptoms in any part of the body - sometimes in the
respiratory tract, sometimes in the digestive tract,
sometimes in the urinary tract, sometimes in the
joints and muscles, and sometimes on the skin as
rashes.
Inflammation is part of immune response. Regular
inflammation can overload the immune system.
Don't put your body at risk. Check everything you put
in your mouth.
Avoid the following additives which are very likely to
cause adverse reactions:

Sulphites 220-228 The
preservatives used in wine are sulphites.
