Dear IMVA,

 

    First I would like to welcome a group of fifty new IMVA readers that have joined our list in the past week. There have been times when I have resisted pushing the throttle forward into more intense communications thinking not to overburden people with my passionate writing pace. But this past week showed me clearly that perhaps I should light the afterburners.

 

    With 2005 approaching many of us are probably feeling a destiny in the wind of a kind most of us would not willingly choose for ourselves and our families. The future is not looking particularly illuminating for our race as a whole and public health is mirroring that quite starkly. I wish I could just wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year but the seriousness of life and events seems to preempt my heart from ritual sayings though of course I wish everyone well.

 

    The IMVA was founded ten months ago and is just barely out of the nursery. Our website, without a sought after webmaster, is badly out of date. It should be reflecting a clear focus on redirecting medicine, in the age of toxicity, toward a new paradigm that puts chemical poisoning in the place of first cause of many of the chronic diseases plaguing humanity. Also it should clearly communicate our position about the use of mercury in medicine and dentistry. Using mercury is vaccines and in dental fillings falls somewhere between chemical terrorism and professional insanity; certainly it mirrors the worst in medicine and human decency.

    This week I will present groundbreaking work in the area of diabetes and it will highlight this positioning of placing chemical toxicity and poisoning in the place of first cause. In the area of diabetes we are seeing the handwriting on the wall, the future is arriving and it is most sad. “A growing number of children are visiting pediatric cardiologists to treat their high cholesterol, or seeing endocrinologists to keep their diabetes in check. In short, kids are "catching" the diseases that kill most adults,” wrote Krista Ramsey of the Cincinnati Enquirer. "The picture has been on the wall, but we've just refused to see it," said Dr. Larry Fox, medical director of the Northeast Florida Pediatric Diabetes Center in Jacksonville, Fla. "We have to realize that the kidney disease and heart disease we used to see in people in their 50s and 60s - who developed Type II diabetes in their 40s - we're now going to see in people in their late 20s and 30s. If we don't do something about it, our grandchildren are going to go blind in their 20s." This is the medical problem of the 21^st century not the bird flu. "It should be treated like an epidemic. You don't just sit back when you have an epidemic. You must take remedial action before part of the population gets wiped out," said Professor Jim Mann, one of the worlds leading nutritionists.  

     Few people are looking directly at the rising tide of mercury that is sitting like an invisible radiation cloud that is year by year building in concentration; even the FDA says quite clearly, “Mercury is everywhere,” and it is the most poisonous element, and when methylated,,organic compound in the non-radioactive kingdom of substances. Before too much ice melts at the poles and before earths climate takes a big change for the worse this mercury is going to make the plagues of Egypt seem trivial. Actually it is an insult to medical and scientific intelligence to try to scare earth’s populations with the bird flu without admitting how mercury poisoning can manifest itself as increased incidences of flu complications and death.[i]

 

The Swedish Chemicals Inspectorate is reporting that the “mercury levels are increasing by about 0.5% per annum in the topmost layer of its forest soils and southern Sweden is already above the levels which have been shown to affect biological process and organisms in the soil.”[ii] According to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences between the late 1970s and late 1980s, the average level of mercury in biosolids (inevitable by-product of the sewage treatment plants) that are used as fertilizers for farm lands increased from 2.8 mg/kg to 5.2 mg/kg, and arsenic levels from 6.7 mg/kg to 9.9 mg/kg while levels of lead, nickel, cadmium decreased.[iii]

As early as 1999 reports found mercury levels in rain over Chicago Illinois that are
as high as 42 times EPA safe levels; Detroit, Michigan rain with 65 times safe levels;
and rain along the Illinois/Wisconsin border as high as 56 times safe levels.[iv]

     Ice core studies have shown that we have already increased environmental mercury levels by a factor of 20 over the last 270 years.[v] Fish around the world are showing dangerous levels of mercury threatening one of mankind’s basic supplies of protein with lakes, rivers and even the deep ocean badly contaminated with mercury. Many scientists and doctors from around the globe have shown how low levels of mercury toxicity is directly related to illnesses like cancer, heart disease and a host of neurological problems like Alzheimer’s, MS, ALS, autism spectrum syndromes and could even be playing a major role in the rapid increases we are seeing in diabetes because of the way mercury attacks sulfur bonds in both insulin and insulin receptor sites.

 

     With the information that is coming forth today we have to start looking at the possibility that humanity itself will die out. It certainly is suffering at ever increasing levels from man made diseases. Meanwhile allopathic medicine has its head stuck in the sand sitting on the sidelines keeping its mouth shut while mentally masturbating with illusions of genetic causes. It's horrible to think it might be doing that because of the fortune being made through sickness and suffering but we should not doubt that certain huge corporations and incredibly rich people know exactly what they are doing and what the consequences will be. If not then we must see that insanity has been taken to a new level that psychology has not the perceptual acuity or courage to fathom. Perhaps Freud was correct about the death wish or we got tired of waiting for aliens to arrive to do us in. Whatever, the situation is going from serious to deadly dangerous.

 

    In reality modern medicine is now obsolete, ineffective certainly, and cruel in its ignorance. The fundamental failure of allopathic medicine is seen in its unwillingness to confront basic causes of disease. Part of the reason for this is tied up to the fact that allopathic medicine itself is a principle cause of human suffering. Incidences of iatrogenic death and diseases have skyrocketed. When you factor in institutionalized allopathic ignorance (its refusal to address causes that could be avoided or eliminated if they were addressed) then we have a situation that is ugly and embarrassing to physicians and dentists who are honest in intent and purpose. Certainly we expect more from our healthcare professionals than blind conditioned obedience to their teachers and medical authorities.

 

   My work has evolved these past six months into a concentrated area that directly confronts the use of mercury in medicine and dentistry. And now researching into environmental areas the full picture has exploded into view and when you read about it you will see I am not speaking idly when I say humanity is threatened and stands a good chance of dying out more quickly than any of us imagine. The diabetes story is a case in point as it literally explodes in prevalence as has autism and many other human disorders in the past fifteen years. In our children we see a mirror of the future. What is happening to them means everything to their parents and is equally important to civilization. That we are letting greater and greater numbers of them be sacrificed to medical ignorance is not something we can tolerate; certainly we risk our very souls and the future of humanity to do so.

 

    It is not a time to be sad or depressed about events though, it is time for awakening and action. It is late in the game to change human nature though. The politics of the current US administration has no intention of doing much to reduce the tonnage of mercury being pored into the air. The American Dental Association certainly is not going to be born again and admit its terrible nature nor will the dental department of the FDA. Neither will we find pediatricians rebelling against their overlords refusing to poison the infants entrusted into their care. Heroes are needed and the call for their love guided efforts will rise from the heavens as even the angels cry out their anguish for the tender vulnerable beings that incarnate and grace the earth with their presence. 

 

    It is my hope that the IMVA will stand up in the mist of this darkness and be a light to inspire others in a movement toward sanity in medicine and dentistry. Certainly with new principles and the placement of toxicology in the center of Biogenic Medicine, (a medicine of life not death), we can help our loved ones and many of our patients navigate through the rough and dirty waters ahead. Elimination is the principle I am thinking of as I write this, it’s the key to health in the age of chemical toxicity and poisoning. It certainly is the key to dealing with the rising tide of mercury pollution that none can escape from; though we can avoid much of it if we do not eat fish, remove and never place mercury dental amalgams in anyone's mouth, and refuse all vaccines, nose sprays and contact eye cleaners that still contain thimerosal.
