Canadian Dr Alex Omelchuk practiced medicine for 25 years. He has been a member of various medical organisations and has held President positions for several including the College of Family Physicians of Canada and Royal Alexandra Hospital. He was Chief, Department of General Practice, Royal Alexandra Hospital at Edmonton in Alberta from 1986-87 and then turned to Instructor of Anatomy & Physiology, Summit Career College, Kelowna. In July 2001 he was appointed Director of Research - Canadian Nutrition For Kids.
Dr Omelchuk’s interest in glyconutrients began in 2000 while he was searching for a solution to his health challenges that were affecting all aspects of his life. With extensive medical experience as a doctor and teacher, Dr Omelchuk was initially sceptical but the evidence was clear–glyconutrients worked and he needed to try them!
Nearly four years later, Dr Omelchuk’s health has improved dramatically and he has returned to teaching anatomy and physiology. He also lectures on the benefits of Mannatech products. He is a strong believer in the glyconutrient philosophy and teaches that nutrition is the key to good health.
