The Nature-Connect Email List was created to address a basic element of nature, both within and around us, that modern societies tend to either ignore or teaches us to conquer. This basic missing element of relating to the natural environment and each other can be stated as simply as this: Thoughtful, shared, sensory connections with attractions in nature improve our thinking, relationships and spirit.

Nature-Connect will provide you with a forum to share thoughts, feelings, and experiences based on attractions to nature in places and people. It will provide you with a safe place to share the stress-reducing outcomes of nature-connected moments in your daily life.

The NatureConnect Email List was originally installed at MindSpring under Majordomo on 10/27/95. The NatureConnect subscribers were transferred over to the L-Soft ListServ on 6/7/97. On 9/13/00 NatureConnect was renamed Nature-Connect and moved to it's new home on eGroups.com. In early 2001 eGroups was purchased by Yahoo.com.
